A social media startup has raised over $1 million in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital and Founders Fund, the companies announced on Wednesday.
The company, sconext, will be headquartered in New York and will be able to sell to customers for up to $250 per month.
It aims to help marketers make better social media marketing decisions through tools like a new tool called Sconexts Social Media, a new platform for the social media and video sharing community, and an API to integrate sconexs content into existing products and services, the founders said in a blog post.
Sconext is a mobile app that allows users to make posts and share them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Users can also post to other people’s social media accounts, and those posts can be shared across those platforms.
Scones social media features includes a user interface similar to Facebook’s, a social sharing button, a list of posts, and a list view for viewing the most recent posts, the company said.
It will offer free features for businesses and businesses that want to use Sconex to increase visibility on their own sites and to reach users more directly, the startup said.
ScONEXs revenue is expected to be in the range of $1 billion to $1 trillion, Sequoias said.
